Hi, I'm Nina Sandelin.

I write contemporary fiction and live in Northern California with my husband and daughter.

Before becoming a novelist, I earned a master's degree in linguistics from McGill University and worked as a professional calligrapher (as you may have guessed from this website). These days, most of my writing happens in the morning, fueled by determination, Earl Grey lattes, and the knowledge that preschool pick-up is at 11:30 a.m. whether I’m finished writing or not.

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me reading, doing arts and crafts, or browsing a bookstore with far less self-control than intended.

Thanks for visiting.
